Refund Policy

1. Free Plan

Shortzly offers a free plan with limited features. No payment is required and no refund applies.

2. Billing Cycle

Paid subscriptions are billed either monthly or annually, depending on the plan you select. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.

3. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page in your dashboard. When you cancel:

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
  • You retain access to all paid features until the period ends
  • Your account automatically downgrades to the free plan after the period expires
  • Your existing clips and data are preserved according to free plan storage limits

4. Refund Eligibility

We offer refunds under the following circumstances:

  • Within 7 days of initial purchase — if you are unsatisfied with the Service, you may request a full refund of your first payment
  • Service issues — if the Service was significantly unavailable or non-functional during your billing period, you may request a prorated refund
  • Accidental charges — if you were charged after cancelling your subscription due to a billing error

5. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds are generally not provided for:

  • Partial months or unused portions of a billing period (beyond the 7-day window)
  • Plan downgrades mid-cycle
  • Account suspension or termination due to Terms of Service violations
  • Dissatisfaction with third-party services (video platform availability, AI output quality)

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us at [email protected] with your account email and the reason for your request. We aim to process all refund requests within 5 business days.

7. Refund Method

Approved refunds are processed through Stripe to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
