The Eklipse Alternative
Eklipse turns gaming streams into highlight clips, but its free tier only previews what it finds - exporting needs Premium at $24.99 a month. Shortzly clips gaming and talking video alike, exports with no watermark, and also generates faceless videos from a topic and publishes them on Autopilot.

Why people look for an Eklipse alternative
Free users cannot export clips
On Eklipse, the free account scans a stream and previews the clips it finds, but downloading or exporting any of them requires Premium. Shortzly has no free tier either, but its 7-day trial costs $1 and exports real clips with no watermark.
Premium is $24.99 a month
Eklipse Premium is $24.99 a month on the web ($179.99 a year, about $15 a month), and the in-app price is higher. Shortzly starts at $9 a month for 30 clips.
Built for gaming streams
Eklipse is focused on Twitch, YouTube, and Kick gaming streams. Shortzly clips gaming streams too, and also podcasts, interviews, and talking-head video from more sources.
It clips, but does not generate
Eklipse makes clips from streams. Shortzly also writes faceless videos from a topic alone - script, voiceover, stock visuals, and captions.

Where Eklipse is the better choice
- Eklipse is purpose-built for gaming streamers: it connects to Twitch, YouTube, and Kick, auto-captures highlights as you stream, and clips moments by voice command. For a pure game-stream workflow it is more specialised than Shortzly.
- Premium exports 1080p 60fps, which matters for fast gameplay where 30fps drops frames. Shortzly renders at 1080p.
- Billed yearly, Premium works out to about $15 a month, and it targets 200+ games with montage and meme tools aimed at that audience.
